Makkah, February (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 02 فبراير 2026ء) In a statement, Secretary-General of the MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa emphasized the need to compel the Israeli government to comply with the second phase of the peace plan proposed by U.S. President Donald Trump. This includes an immediate ceasefire and the unhindered delivery of humanitarian aid.
Al-Issa also praised the recent statement by the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia and several Islamic and Arab nations condemning Israeli violations. They warned that these actions escalate tensions and jeopardize regional and international efforts to implement the peace plan and UN Security Council Resolution 2803. These efforts aim to end ongoing violence and establish a just and lasting peace in line with international resolutions and the New York Declaration on the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution.
