Riyadh, January (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 26 كانون الثاني 2026ء) He made these remarks in a panel discussion titled “High-Impact Sectors as a Driver for Job Creation,” held at the third edition of the Global Labor Market Conference in Riyadh, which brought together more than 40 labor ministers, over 200 speakers, and more than 10,000 participants from 100 countries.
He noted that the tourism sector accounts for around 10% of jobs worldwide and contributes the same share to the global economy, adding that it is the leading job-generating sector among all industries, according to the United Nations World Tourism Organization.
He concluded by stressing that tourism is one of the most influential sectors in reducing unemployment, affirming the ministry’s commitment to allocating a budget for training and development and ensuring that tourism services in the Kingdom are delivered by qualified young Saudi nationals.
