Weqaa Center Signs Three MoUs to Support Plant and Animal Health and Strengthen Research Partnerships

Riyadh, October (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 21 اكتوبر 2025ء) The MoU signed with the Agricultural Development Fund focuses on enhancing cooperation in prevention and control, empowering farmers and livestock breeders to implement pest management and sustainable animal health practices, and providing sustainable financing solutions to protect and improve the agricultural sector's efficiency.

The second MoU signed with King Faisal University aims to strengthen collaboration in scientific, research, and training fields, including cooperative training programs for students in plant and animal health, surveillance, early warning, epidemiological surveys, and integrated pest control applications.

The third MoU signed with Klybeck Life Sciences seeks to support the national veterinary pharmaceuticals industry and enhance cooperation in localizing the production of veterinary vaccines in the Kingdom. The agreement includes collaboration in veterinary products, epidemiological surveys, diagnostics, technical development, training, and organizing specialized scientific events, as well as sharing data and expertise to enhance self-sufficiency and animal health security in Saudi Arabia.
