Gaza, October (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 21 اكتوبر 2025ء) As part of the initiative, the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage, KSrelief’s implementing partner in the Gaza Strip, is overseeing the receipt and installation of the desalination units in key locations across the enclave. The project aims to provide access to clean and safe water for approximately 300,000 individuals in Khan Yunis and the middle Governorates.
Representatives of UN and international organizations operating in Gaza praised the project for its vital humanitarian impact, noting its contribution to strengthening the water and sanitation infrastructure and improving the quality of life for residents.
Beneficiaries also expressed their deep gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and to His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for their continuous humanitarian support. They emphasized the significance of the project in providing much-needed potable water for daily use.
This initiative forms part of Saudi Arabia’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, through KSrelief, to support the Palestinian people and alleviate the difficult living conditions in the Gaza Strip.
