Washington, October (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 19 اكتوبر 2025ء) According to a press release issued by the Ministry of Economy and Planning today, Alibrahim’s participation included a series of meetings with key officials, including Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the Republic of Slovenia Klemen Boštjančič; Minister of Finance and Economy of Poland Andrzej Domański; Minister of Economy and Finance of the Hellenic Republic Kyriakos Pierrakakis; and Minister of Finance and Economic Affairs of Iceland Daًi Mلr Kristَfersson.
He also met with Vice President for Infrastructure at the World Bank Guangzhe Chen and several senior officials from the World Bank and the IMF. The release added that the discussions focused on strengthening existing economic collaboration and reviewing the latest global developments of mutual interest.
The minister also took part in a fireside chat at Johns Hopkins University’s school of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), hosted by the Reischauer Center for East Asian Studies, where he highlighted Saudi Arabia’s economic transformation under Saudi Vision 2030 and discussed the importance of international partnerships in addressing global challenges.
The Ministry of Economy and Planning additionally hosted a side event in collaboration with Georgetown University.
