Paris, October (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 17 اكتوبر 2025ء) Saudi Arabia’s chairmanship of the network, represented by SDAIA and in coordination with the Saudi National Commission for education, Culture and Science, comes as recognition from UNESCO of the Kingdom’s international efforts to advance frameworks and ethics of AI at the local, regional, and global levels. It also highlights Saudi Arabia’s contribution to supporting the United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goals related to promoting AI ethics worldwide, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 that aims to position the Kingdom at the forefront of data- and AI-driven economies.
GNAIS strengthens cooperation among supervisory bodies worldwide, facilitates the exchange of expertise and knowledge among them, builds capacity in the areas of AI ethics and oversight, and develops unified tools and standards that enhance the effectiveness of AI supervision across various sectors. The network provides its members with access to specialized training resources and a comprehensive repository of case studies and global best practices, helping member states keep pace with rapid technological transformations.
