Athens, October (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 07 اكتوبر 2025ء) Alkhorayef and the minister of environment and energy discussed ways to develop cooperation in the mining sector and the investment opportunities available in the Kingdom for Greek mining companies. They also reviewed opportunities to exchange expertise and transfer the latest technologies and innovative solutions in exploration, extraction, and mine management.
Alkhorayef met with the minister of development to discuss strengthening bilateral economic ties between the Kingdom and Greece and developing cooperation in the industrial and mining sectors. The two ministers also reviewed joint investment opportunities in maritime industries, infrastructure development, and specialized industrial clusters.
During the meetings, Alkhorayef invited both Greek ministers to participate in the fifth annual Future Minerals Forum, to be hosted in Riyadh from January 13 to 15. The forum is a global platform to discuss the future of the mining sector and build international partnerships that enhance the sustainability of mineral supply chains.
The meetings with the Greek ministers were attended by Saudi Ambassador to the Hellenic Republic Ali bin Abdulrahman Al-Yousef, National Industrial Development Center President Eng. Saleh Al-Solami, and leaders from the industry and mining ecosystem in the Kingdom.
The meetings come as part of Alkhorayef’s official visit to the Hellenic Republic, aimed at broadening strategic cooperation in industry and mining and attracting quality investments to the Kingdom.
