Dammam, September (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 30 سبتمبر 2025ء) The project has reached advanced stages, with 15 pavilions already completed, each representing a different country and showcasing diverse cultural traditions. The first phase covers 200,000 square meters, while the total project spans 650,000 square meters. Each pavilion showcases national cultures, cuisines, and products, providing visitors with an immersive experience through global customs and traditions in a family-friendly atmosphere.
Beyond cultural showcases, the project is designed as a fully integrated entertainment hub. At its heart lies a central lake serving as a focal point for tourism, recreational, and marine activities. The project will also feature a floating market, an open-air theater with a capacity of 8,000 visitors, a modern amusement park, diverse restaurants, and retail outlets. Walking tracks and open spaces are also included, making it a prime destination for leisure and tourism in Eastern Region.
The Global City has already been completed to a significant degree, with the initial stages delivered in record time. Once fully operational, it is expected to serve as a landmark for cultural exchange and entertainment diversity, while enhancing the Eastern Region’s position as a leading tourism and investment hub in line with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
