Riyadh, September (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 30 سبتمبر 2025ء) The decision is in accordance with the Trade Remedies Law in International Trade, issued on November 23, 2022. As stipulated in Article 4.1, “The authority is responsible for trade remedies including conducting investigations, reviews, and the imposition of measures in accordance with the Kingdom's international commitments, especially under the Anti-Dumping Agreement, the Agreement on Subsidies and Countervailing Measures, and the Agreement on Safeguards.”
Since the law’s issuance, GAFT has carried out several investigations across various industrial sectors to protect local industry from harm caused by dumped and subsidized imports, prevent import surges, and defend the Kingdom’s exports subject to trade remedies measures.
