Unaizah, September (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 29 سبتمبر 2025ء) The forum, organized by the National Center for Palms and Dates in cooperation with the Unaizah Chamber of Commerce and the International Dates Council, underscores the Kingdom’s leading role in advancing the global palm and date sector and consolidating its position as the world’s largest producer and exporter of dates. The second edition will focus on sustainability, innovation, modern technologies, and the exchange of global expertise in this promising industry.
The program includes specialized scientific sessions featuring researchers, academics, and international experts, as well as representatives from global organizations and major investment institutions. Discussions will address challenges and opportunities facing the sector and explore ways to develop it from farm production to global markets. A series of expert-led workshops will also be held over two days.
The forum serves as a key scientific and economic platform for industry professionals, providing opportunities for networking and knowledge exchange. It further highlights the role of Unaizah Governorate and Qassim Region as major hubs of the Saudi date industry, while reinforcing the sector’s contribution to the Saudi Vision 2030 goals in agricultural sustainability and economic diversification.
