Saudi Arabia Spotlights Red Sea Assets on World Tourism Day

Riyadh, September (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 27 سبتمبر 2025ء) The Red Sea coast extends over 1,800 kilometers and features more than 1,150 pristine islands, ancient coral reefs, and over 500 world-class diving sites. This unique natural wealth provides a strong foundation for developing an integrated, sustainable tourism experience.

To unlock the potential of its natural resources, the Saudi Red Sea Authority was established to regulate coastal tourism, develop an investment-friendly legislative framework, and ensure the sustainability of the marine environment.

Major projects are rapidly transforming coastal tourism in the Kingdom. Red Sea Global recently announced the opening of Shura Island, which will feature 11 world-class resorts upon completion. NEOM is introducing unique models that integrate advanced technologies and innovative tourism experiences, while Qiddiya is developing into a comprehensive global destination for entertainment, culture, and sports.

Through these ambitious projects and their diverse offerings, the Kingdom is solidifying its position as one of the world’s most prominent emerging tourism destinations. This affirms its commitment to Vision 2030 by building a thriving tourism sector that drives economic growth, creates job opportunities, and strengthens its global presence.
