In Sudan's Gezira State, the program will improve access to clean drinking water for 200,000 people. The plan includes drilling 15 new wells with solar-powered pumps, rehabilitating 40 existing wells, installing 30 solar units for continuous operation, and training 40 technicians on system maintenance to ensure long-term sustainability.
