Jerusalem, September (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 23 سبتمبر 2025ء) In his speech at the High-Level International Conference for the Peaceful Settlement of the Question of Palestine and the Implementation of the Two-State Solution, Abbas emphasized that the declaration underscores the urgent need to halt the war on the Palestinian people. He condemned the use of siege, starvation, and destruction as means to achieve security.
The president also recognized the efforts of Egyptian, Qatari, and American mediators and asserted that only the State of Palestine can govern Gaza through a temporary administrative committee linked to the Palestinian government in the West Bank, with Arab and international support.
He commended the co-chairs of the conference, Saudi Arabia and France, for their roles in garnering international recognition for the State of Palestine and advocating for a two-state solution based on international legitimacy.
