It builds upon last year’s accomplishment, when the same building earned LEED Platinum status in the "Interior Design and Construction for Commercial Buildings" category.
The latest certification underscores Tarshid’s ongoing commitment to implementing international standards in sustainable construction, energy conservation, and environmental responsibility.
Located on King Abdullah Road in Riyadh, the building features a distinctive architectural design with an external façade that reduces thermal loads and maximizes natural lighting. These elements lower energy demand and enhance the building’s capacity to utilize solar energy.
Inside, the facility is equipped with advanced energy management systems, including motion detectors, daylight harvesting sensors, carbon dioxide monitors, and an integrated Building Management System (BMS). Rooftop solar panels also contribute to its dynamic and eco-efficient energy ecosystem.
LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Platinum is the highest global certification for sustainability, energy performance, and innovative building design.
