Riyadh, January (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 26 كانون الثاني 2025ء) SASO and TGA emphasized that truck drivers must comply with this requirement and schedule inspections within the designated timeframes to avoid penalties and fines from the relevant authorities. They noted that all registered trucks in the Kingdom, whether used for domestic or international transport, are required to undergo periodic technical inspections at authorized centers. Appointments can be booked through the official platform (pti.saso.gov.sa). The inspections cover critical checks, including tire safety, brake systems, lighting, exhaust systems, and other essential aspects related to vehicle safety.
This initiative is part of a series of measures by both entities to reduce truck-related traffic accidents and their impacts, improve the quality of services in the road transport system, and contribute to achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 goals, which include enhancing public safety, improving the quality of life, and bolstering the Kingdom’s position as a competitive global logistics hub.
