Al-Ahsa, October (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 20 اكتوبر 2025ء) The central nursery represents an integrated production and environmental system that relies on the latest agricultural technologies in environmental control and water treatment, ensuring the highest levels of quality, productivity, and sustainability.
The nursery covers an area of 500,000 square meters and includes an advanced station for salinity treatment and water filtration to provide suitable irrigation water for various types of plants. It also features automated greenhouses and designated areas for temporarily assembling plants before their distribution to field projects.
Al-Ahsa Municipality Spokesperson Khaled Boushal indicated that this production expansion contributes to meeting the needs of the municipality’s landscaping and agricultural projects and supports its plans for the design of gardens, parks, squares, and roads, in line with the objectives of improving quality of life in Al-Ahsa.
He noted that the doubling of the nursery's production comes as part of the municipality's commitment to the goals of the "Saudi Green Initiative."
