Riyadh, September (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 01 سبتمبر 2025ء) The two ministers were received by stc Group Chairman Prince Mohammed bin Khaled bin Abdullah bin Faisal and stc Group CEO Olayan Alwetaid, as well as senior executives of stc Group's subsidiaries.
During the visit, stc Group officials delivered a detailed presentation on the company’s key digital services and technological solutions, including its high-speed 5G network—one of the most extensive in the region—which provides ultra-fast connectivity supporting the Kingdom’s digital transformation.
The presentation also highlighted the group’s role in developing digital infrastructure, including large-scale regional data centers that enable cloud services, cybersecurity, smart city solutions, and the internet of Things (IoT), which supports applications in smart transport, energy, and digital government services.
Moreover, the presentation highlighted stc Bank’s digital financial services, which have become a regional platform for electronic payments and money transfers.
Additionally, the Syrian delegation was briefed on sustainable initiatives focused on innovation and digital transformation in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The two sides also discussed opportunities for cooperation and the exchange of expertise in the communications and information technology sector to enhance digital integration between the two countries.
