Riyadh, August (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 26 أغسطس 2025ء) According to NCEC Executive Director of Environmental Research and Studies Dr. Qasem Al-Sharari, this initiative is part of the center's efforts to protect the quality and safety of water, air, and soil to enhance environmental sustainability. The analyses have been key to monitoring environmental violations and determining whether they constitute environmental crimes, with the results serving as the basis for legal judgments.
Environmental tests are conducted to monitor pollutants and strengthen the effectiveness of regulatory programs. By providing accurate scientific data aligned with the highest standards, these tests support informed environmental decision-making and help ensure a clean, pollutant-free environment.
Laboratory services for environmental analyses are among 28 investment opportunities announced by the center in May 2025. These opportunities, covering the localization of environmental industries, service provision, and technology development, have a total estimated value of SAR39 billion ($10.4 billion). Investments in environmental laboratories are part of the center’s ongoing privatization efforts in this vital sector.
