Saudi Pavilion at INNOPROM Hosts Workshops to Boost International Partnerships

Yekaterinburg, July (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 10 يوليو 2025ء) To introduce the advantages of the Kingdom's industrial investment environment, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources organized a workshop titled "Industrial Investments in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia." The session reviewed the historical development of the Saudi industrial sector, the objectives of the National Industrial Strategy, and the promising sectors targeted for localization.

The workshop also outlined the Kingdom's strategic advantages that make it an attractive destination for industrial investment, including its geographic location linking it to major global markets, with 13% to 15% of global trade passing through the Red Sea. It highlighted the advanced industrial and logistical infrastructure, comprising more than 40 industrial cities, 10 major ports, and 5,000 kilometers of railway lines, that enhances its ability to attract quality investments and expand the productive capacity of industrial projects.

The ministry also organized a workshop titled "The Standard Incentive Program for the Industrial Sector" that focused on targeted sectors such as aerospace, automotive, building materials, pharmaceuticals, maritime, mining, machinery and equipment, downstream chemicals, and medical devices. The workshop introduced the financial support available through the program, which offers financial incentives of up to 35% of the eligible initial investment, with a cap of SAR50 million per project.

As part of the financing solutions offered by the industrial and mining ecosystem, the Saudi Industrial Development Fund (SIDF) held a workshop titled "Financial and Non-Financial Services Offered by SIDF." The session reviewed SIDF's financing products, advisory services, and training programs designed to support the growth of the industrial sector, in line with the goals of the National Industrial Strategy and to enhance investors' ability to develop sustainable, high-quality projects.

The Saudi Export-Import Bank (EXIM) held a workshop titled "An Overview of Credit Facilities Offered by Saudi EXIM Bank," which introduced the bank's leading financial products designed to support non-oil exports, including export credit, supply-chain finance, and guarantees. The aim is to enhance the global presence and competitiveness of Saudi products.

Additionally, the Economic Cities and Special Zones Authority presented a workshop titled "Introduction to Special Economic Zones," where it reviewed the competitive advantages of the zones.

In support of the Kingdom's downstream industries, the National Industrial Development Center (NIDC) held a workshop titled "Investment Opportunities in Downstream Chemicals." The session reviewed the sector's targets under the National Industrial Strategy, including plans to more than quadruple its contribution to gross domestic product (GDP). It also highlighted the Kingdom's global leadership in the petrochemicals sector and the high-value opportunities available for investors.

Regarding Saudi Arabia's mining sector, the Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources hosted a workshop titled "The Kingdom: The World's Next Hub for Mineral Processing." The session reviewed the Kingdom's vast mineral resources, estimated at $2.5 trillion, including gold, zinc, copper, cobalt, and rare earth elements. It also addressed the goals of the Comprehensive Mining and Minerals Strategy, which aims to increase the sector's GDP contribution to $64 billion by 2030.

Several other government entities organized workshops as well. The Ministry of Energy held a session titled "Opportunities in the Saudi Energy Sector" that showcased key investment opportunities in the field. The Premium Residency Center hosted a workshop titled "Enabling Growth for Skilled Professionals," that presented the incentives provided to distinguished talents. ROSHN Group held a session titled "Introduction to ROSHN Group," highlighting its real-estate products that contribute to enhancing quality of life in the Kingdom. Additionally, the "Spirit of Saudi Arabia" program conducted workshops introducing Saudi Arabia's tourist destinations.

The Kingdom's participation as a partner country in the INNOPROM International Industrial Exhibition confirms its commitment to enhancing international partnerships in the industrial and investment sectors and strengthening its position as a trusted global economic partner. Through such participation, Saudi Arabia aims to attract high-quality Russian investments in priority sectors, build strategic partnerships that support knowledge transfer, localize technologies, develop industrial and mining supply chains, and boost non-oil exports.
