London, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 29 يونيو 2025ء) During the meeting, Dr. Al-Issa emphasized the importance of instilling wisdom in the conduct of Muslim communities in all circumstances, drawing on the example of Prophet Mohammed (peace be upon him), who responded to challenges with patience, forgiveness, and wisdom.
He also highlighted the need for unity in issuing fatwas and providing religious guidance, especially on public matters. He announced that the MWL’s International Islamic Fiqh academy, the oldest established jurisprudential body in the Islamic world, will hold a forum at the Islamic Centre to discuss the jurisprudence of Muslim minorities.
The forum will explore the development of a regularly updated jurisprudential code and introduce new imam training programs in the UK based on the principles of the Makkah Declaration. A proposal was also made to integrate the Makkah Document into Islamic educational curricula at various levels.
Participants welcomed Dr. Al-Issa’s visit to the UK and his engagement with senior officials, particularly in light of growing concerns about Islamophobia. They praised the thoughtful and balanced solutions he presented to counter this rising phenomenon, describing his approach as both wise and constructive.
