Particular emphasis was placed on combating hate speech and all forms of discrimination and exclusion that undermine the national spirit, especially when such actions originate from influential legal or institutional entities.
Al-Issa underscored that the vast majority of Muslims in British society demonstrate strong religious and national awareness. He noted that discordant voices—wherever they may arise—are isolated incidents that reflect only the views of individuals and do not represent the values of islam.
In a related context, the UK Parliament hosted Al-Issa at its London headquarters for a side meeting organized at the invitation of several members of Parliament and attended by the speaker. Discussions focused on strengthening integration and harmony among the components of British society, combating extremism and hatred, and highlighting the efforts of the MWL in building bridges between civilizations and promoting mutual understanding among peoples.
