Riyadh, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز 03 يونيو 2025ء) Located at a key entry point for land pilgrims arriving through the Kingdom’s northern border, the Hajj City in Al-Jouf is designed to provide a seamless and dignified start to their religious journey. The facility includes 13 reception and welcome lounges, separate hospitality halls for men and women, a healthcare center and health sector command post, an enrichment exhibition focused on Hajj and Umrah, a security control room, and the administrative headquarters of the Hajj and Umrah Services Association.
Special services have also been established for the elderly and persons with special needs, demonstrating a model of institutional integration and inter-agency cooperation to elevate the pilgrim experience.
Additionally, the authority is participating in the Makkah Route Initiative, a major program aimed at streamlining the Hajj journey for international pilgrims. Implemented in coordination with multiple government bodies, the initiative enables pilgrims to complete travel procedures from their home countries, ensuring a smooth transition from departure to arrival in Makkah. Through its advanced digital infrastructure and skilled personnel, the General Authority for Awqaf contributes to delivering an exceptional religious and logistical experience.
