Media Ministry Launches Second Edition of 'Hajj Media Hub'

Makkah, June (پاکستان پوائنٹ نیوز ‎‎‎ 02 يونيو 2025ء) The hub features an interactive media exhibition, various studios, a comprehensive media center, live broadcast vehicles, and a Virtual Press Center (VPC) operated via an interactive screen and a dedicated team that provides continuous updates and services around the clock via the following link: https://vpc.media.gov.sa/Home/Index.

The hub brings together various sectors of the media system in one place to support media coverage and enhance cooperation within an environment rich in interactive technologies. It highlights the significant transformation in services provided to pilgrims while showcasing key projects and achievements at the Two Holy Mosques and the holy sites.

The hub features participation from 15 government and private entities, including the Ministry of Interior, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the Ministry of Municipalities and Housing, the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, and the Saudi Water Authority. The media sector is represented by the Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi Broadcasting Authority, the General Commission for Media Regulation, and the Saudi Center for Government Communication. The hub aims to provide an integrated media environment that supports journalists in their coverage, utilizing the latest technologies and media platforms, thereby contributing to innovation in local and international content and coverage during the 1446 AH Hajj season.

Moreover, the hub is expected to attract over 5,000 media professionals and visitors, representing more than 150 media outlets, with participation from over 15 entities across the public and private sectors.

The launch of the second edition of the Hajj Media Hub follows the notable success of the first edition in terms of participation and media coverage. That edition saw attendance exceeding 2,000 media professionals and visitors, along with the participation of more than 15 public and private entities across 11 zones.
