WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 30th April, 2019) US law enforcement officials are separating supporters of Venezuelan opposition leader Juan Guaido from pro-Maduro protesters gathered outside the Venezuelan Embassy in Washington on Tuesday, a Sputnik correspondent reported from the embassy.
Up to 50 Guaido supporters are rallying in front of the Venezuelan embassy, which has been occupied by pro-Maduro activists for the past two weeks, chanting "Libertad," which means freedom in English, the correspondent reported.
The goal of the pro-Maduro protesters is to prevent Guaido and his so-called government from taking possession of the diplomatic building.
