UAE Ambassador to South Africa discusses cooperation in higher education, youth

PRETORIA, (Pakistan Point News - 12th Mar, 2019) Mahash Saeed Al Hameli, UAE Ambassador to South Africa, discussed with Naledi Pandor, Minister of Higher Education, the cooperation between the UAE and South Africa in the areas of higher education and the youth.

Both sides praised the ties between their countries, which began 25 years ago, and expressed their hopes for furthering their relations.

Pandor thanked the UAE for offering scholarships to South Africans to Khalifa University, and for providing assistance through its embassy in South Africa while expressing her interest in higher education. She also praised the UAE’s role and its achievements in education, science and technology.

Pandor highlighted her keenness to reinforce the cooperation in higher education between the two countries, as well as to encourage their governments to strengthen their ties, especially in areas related to the youth.
