KP govt accelerates treatment of Leishminia patients
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has accelerated treatment of Leishmania patients in the affected districts of the province
PESHAWAR (Pakistan Point News / NNI - 09th March, 2019) The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has accelerated treatment of Leishmania patients in the affected districts of the province.A spokesman of provincial health department said here on Saturday that more than fifteen hundred patients have been provided treatment at a specialized center for Leishminia in Peshawar during the last one year.
The spokesman said two more consignments of about one hundred thousand injections from WHO will reach the province soon.He said more than twenty-one thousand patients are still suffering from the skin disease. NNI
