US House Oversight Chief Says Trump Apparently Committed Crime While in Office
WASHINGTON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th February, 2019) House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings told reporters that it appears US President Donald Trump committed a crime while in office based on the testimony provided by the commander-in-chief's former personal attorney Michael Cohen.
"Based on looking at the text and listening to Mr. Cohen, it appears that he did," Cummings said on Wednesday when asked if he believes Trump committed a crime while in office.
Cohen before a congressional committee earlier in the day provided details of Trump's role in hush money payments to women that may have violated campaign finance laws.
