MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 08th January, 2019) The economic sentiment indicator in the European Union fell to a two-year low in December 2018, the European Commission said Tuesday.
"In December 2018, the Economic Sentiment Indicator (ESI) decreased markedly in both the euro area (by 2.
2 points to 107.3) and the EU (by 2.0 points to 107.6)," the statement of the Directorate-General for Economic and Financial Affairs reads.
This figure is the lowest since January 2017.
The indicator has been decreasing for 12 months in a row.
