Ahmed Shahzad and Umer Akmal Disheartened over Demotion in PCB's contract list

LAHORE, (Pakistan Point News - 28th Oct, 2016) : Test Players Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad have been demoted in PCB’s contract list. Sources have said that the news have disheartened the players and said they will talk to the management about the issue.

Sources have said that the ‘spoiled children’ of national team has failed to impress and maintain their positional category in the eyes of Pakistan cricket board.

Regardless of being selected in Super League 2 platinum category, PCB has demoted both of the players.

Batsmen Umar Akmal and Ahmed Shehzad have been dropped to category D, the lowest level of contracts, by the PCB and they are both distressed over this decision. Sources have said that both players think that the management has been unfair with their demotion.

They have kept Haris Sohail, an unfit middle order batsman, who last played his match on 29th May, 2015 in the C category whilst demoting them to the lowest.
