"To be honest, this is an internal US affair, which we have repeatedly said and confirmed our position.
It is strange to do this year after year, but given the atmosphere laid by the US, I mean politicians, representatives of various political movements, we have to emphasize each time that this is an internal affair of the United States," Zakharova told reporters.
"Therefore, we see no need to comment as we are talking about the internal affairs of another sovereign state. Russia does not interfere in these matters," she said.
