Chinese President Says to Hold Several Meetings With Putin Before Year-End
Chinese President Xi Jinping said Tuesday that he would hold a number of meetings with Russian leader Vladimir Putin before the end of the year.
VLADIVOSTOK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 11th September, 2018) Chinese President Xi Jinping said Tuesday that he would hold a number of meetings with Russian leader Vladimir Putin before the end of the year.
"I met with President Putin three times in the last four months. This kind of close relationship and exchange demonstrated the high level and special status of China-Russia relations.
It also showed the bilateral relations has taken a priority role in both nations' foreign policies. We will meet each other again in many important multilateral occasions before the end of the year. We will continue our friendly exchanges," Xi said after meeting with Putin on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF).
The fourth EEF kicked off earlier on Tuesday and will last through Thursday on the island of Russky in Russia's Vladivostok. Rossiya Segodnya International Information Agency is the general information partner of the forum.
