Kremlin Plans No Contacts With US Energy Secretary During His Visit to Moscow - Peskov
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th September, 2018) The Russian presidential administration does not plan any contacts with US Secretary of Energy Rick Perry during his three-day visit to Moscow, set to start on Tuesday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday.
"I do not have such information.
As far as I know, there are no such contacts [planned]," Peskov told reporters.
Earlier in the day, Russian Energy Minister Alexander Novak said that he would hold a meeting with Perry on Thursday to discuss the Russian-US cooperation in the energy sphere, as well as the situation on the oil and gas market.
According to Novak, the initiative to hold talks was mutual.
