VLADIVOSTOK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 10th September, 2018) Japan intends to work closely with Russia to resolve the North Korean issue, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said Monday.
"We held a frank discussion on the North Korea. In order to make it completely abandon nuclear weapons, the international community must strictly implement the UN Security Council resolution.
We intend to continue to work closely with Russia," Abe said after a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin on the sidelines of the Eastern Economic Forum.
