MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 29th August, 2018) Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Wednesday that the government should introduce administrative or even criminal liability for employers over firing employees of pre-retirement age.
"Therefore, I believe it is necessary to introduce administrative or even criminal liability for employers over firing employees of pre-retirement age, as well as for refusal to hire persons due to their age," the president said in a televised address.
