Canadian Foreign Minister Starts 3-Day Working Visit to Ukraine - Kiev
Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland arrived Monday in Ukraine for a three-day working visit, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service said.
KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 27th August, 2018) Canadian Foreign Minister Chrystia Freeland arrived Monday in Ukraine for a three-day working visit, the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry's press service said.
"Canadian Minister of Foreign Affairs Chrystia Freeland is on a working visit to Ukraine on August 27-29," the statement read.
According to the press service, Freeland's visit aims at supporting the Ukrainian-Canadian dialogue.
On Tuesday, she is expected to hold talks with her Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin. Freeland is also set to meet with Ukraine's President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman.
Besides, Freeland will participate in the meeting of the heads of Ukraine's foreign diplomatic missions.
After her visit to Ukraine, Freeland will head to France, where she will meet with French Minister for Europe and Foreign Affairs Jean-Yves Le Drian.
