Russian Defense Ministry to Allocate $1.7Bln for Building Military Infrastructure in 2019
KUBINKA (Russia) (Pakistan Point news / Sputnik - 23rd August, 2018) The Russian Defense Ministry will earmark about 117 billion rubles ($1.7 billion) to construct military facilities across the country in 2019, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Timur Ivanov said Thursday on the sidelines of the Army-2018 defense industry forum in the Moscow region.
"This year, about 117 billion rubles is allocated on the construction [of military infrastructure], and a similar sum [will be allocated] next year," Ivanov said at a round table on military construction in the country.
The deputy minister added that nearly 3,500 military facilities will be put into operation in 2018.
