Turkey: Bomb exploded near AK Party and City Governor's office in Van, 11 people injured

Istanbul, (Pakistan Point News – 12th September, 2016) : A powerful explosion shook the Kurdish city of Van in eastern Turkey on Monday, September 12. According to the initial reports, ambulances were seen and hear around the area of the blast.

11 people were reported critically injured.

According to CNN Turk, the blast was reported to have struck somewhere between the headquarters of the ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) and office of the city’s governor.

Burhan Kayaturk told CNN Turk that there were no fatalities, building was well-secured and did not suffer much damage. However, the explosion is being described as “massive” and “powerful.” There were no immediate reports of casualties.
