Says Nawaz Sharif ran the government with wisdom
Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 16th May, 2018) Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) leader and Maryam Nawaz’s husband Captain (r) Safdar has said that Nawaz Sharif ran the government with wisdom and acumen.
He said that former Information Minister Pervaiz Rasheed was removed from the ministry over Dawn Leaks issue despite being innocent.
Talking to media outside Accountability Court on Wednesday, Capt (r) Safdar said that the PMLN will again form government after the next general elections.
Over Nawaz Sharif’s remarks regarding Mumbai attacks, he said that the former prime minister’s statement was presented out of context.
When a journalist asked why Pervaiz Rasheed was removed from Information Ministry if he had no role in Dawn Leaks, the PMLN leader said that Nawaz Sharif ran the government wisely. Pervaiz Rasheed was removed from the position to save the country.
