Says how dare you file a reference against Nawaz or give any statement against him
Lahore (Pakistan Point News – 21st May, 2018) Renowned journalist Mubhasir Luqman has said that the daughter of former prime minister Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz has criticized Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi for filing a reference against Nawaz Sharif.
While talking on a tv program, Luqman said that Maryam censured Abbasi and said how dare you file a reference against Nawaz or give any statement against him.
Following this, Prime Minister Abbasi tried to resign but it was not accepted as a resignation would delay the elections by one month. The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) does not want a delay in the elections.
The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Lahore had on Sunday decided to file another reference against the former prime minister. Nawaz Sharif was alleged of interfering in the construction of road outside his house, increasing the cost of the construction work.
The NAB summoned Nawaz Sharif twice over illegally widening the road but he did not appear before the court. Following this, NAB filed another reference against Nawaz.
