Lahore(Pakistan Point News - 22nd Mar, 2018 ) According to a Gilani Research Foundation Survey carried out by Gallup & Gilani Pakistan, 1 in 4 Pakistanis (28%) want license free right to buy arms. A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked, “Some people support that a license should be obtained from the police before the purchase of any weapon, while some people oppose it. Please tell me whether you support or oppose that a license should be obtained from the police before purchasing any weapon?” In response to this question, 66% said they supported the idea that a license should be obtained from the police before the purchase of any weapon, 28% said they opposed it and 6% did not know or wish to respond.
