ISLAMABAD, (Pakistan Point News – 11th Jan, 2017) : Defense Minister Khawaja Asif said former army chief General (r) Raheel Sharif did not submit no objection certificate (NOC). He said Gen (r) Raheel had returned to the country after performing Umrah but NOC has not come to Government’s notice.
If the former COAS applies for the NOC, it will be decided according to the law, said Asif. He further said that he did not seek permission from the government or GHQ after returning to Pakistan after Umrah, nor did he inform of this offer.
