Some 100 Firefighters Extinguishing Blaze in Apartment Building in East London - Statement
LONDON (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 09th June, 2019) About 100 firefighters are participating in the process of extinguishing a major fire in a block of flats in eastern London, the UK capital's Fire Brigade said in a Sunday statement.
"Fifteen fire engines and around 100 firefighters have been called to a fire at a block of flats on De Pass Gardens in Barking.
The ground floor to the sixth floor of the block are currently alight," the statement reads.
The firefighters added that the reason for the fire had not been found yet.
In turn, the police said that no injuries had been reported so far.
