Afghan Ceasefire Impossible Without Foreign Troop Withdrawal - Taliban Delegation
MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 28th May, 2019) A ceasefire in Afghanistan is impossible unless foreign troops withdraw from the country, Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanikzai, the deputy head of the Taliban delegation in Moscow, said on Tuesday.
"We do not want a ceasefire for one or two days.
We want that once the ceasefire is declared it should be there for the rest of life. That will be possible when foreign forces leave Afghanistan as soon as possible," Stanikzai told reporters.
