Ukrainian company Ukrtransnafta said Monday it again suspended oil transit to the EU via the Druzhba pipeline after Hungarian company MOL's report on technical problems

KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 20th May, 2019) Ukrainian company Ukrtransnafta said Monday it again suspended oil transit to the EU via the Druzhba pipeline after Hungarian company MOL's report on technical problems.

"On May 20, at 00:00 Ukrtransnafta JSC, in accordance with the schedule agreed by the Druzhba operators, resumed transit of Russian oil to European consumers.

Since the start of the day, Ukraine's oil transportation company pumped 4,000 tonnes of oil in the direction of the EU and suspended pumping due to the need to perform additional technological operations to replace oil in the station's pipelines," Ukrtransnafta said on Facebook.

"Ukrtransnafta will resume the pumping of raw materials through the Druzhba pipeline after the readiness of the Hungarian side to receive oil is confirmed," it said.
