Japan, EU Discussed Russian-North Korean Talks, Await Pyongyang's Denuclearization - Abe
BRUSSELS (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 25th April, 2019) Japan and EU discussed in Brussels the recent Russian-North Korean summit in Vladivostok and await Pyongyang's moves to dismantle nuclear weapons, Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe said on Thursday.
"With regard to the recent developments around the Korean Peninsula, we have discussed the Russian-North Korean summit. We want Pyongyang to move toward the direction of an irreversible suspension of all ballistic missiles, nuclear weapons and other weapons of mass destruction in accordance with the resolutions of the UN Security Council," Abe said.
