Recently Arrived North Korean Delegation Goes to Vladivostok From Airport

VLADIVISTOK (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 23rd April, 2019) About 30 representatives of a North Korean delegation that has recently landed in Vladivostok ahead of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un's possible visit to Russia went to the city of Vladivostok from the airport, Sputnik correspondent reported.

Earlier in the day, two aircraft from North Korea instead of one, as was initially planned, landed in Vladivostok airport. South Korean media reported that Kim's security service was allegedly on board the planes and it arrived in Russia to prepare for a meeting between Kim and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Members of North Korean delegation have left the terminal building by taxi and foreign cars with local number plates, according to the correspondent.

Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said on Monday that the meeting between Putin and Kim would take place before the end of April. Meanwhile, South Korean media have suggested that the talks are most likely to be held in Vladivostok. An employee of a Vladivostok train station told Sputnik last Thursday that North Korean official Kim Chang Son, who was seen in Vladivostok last Wednesday, had been examining security measures at the station.
