BEIRUT (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 05th April, 2019) The Lebanese government has endorsed accreditation of foreign companies willing to develop five new oil fields in the Lebanese territorial waters, the country's energy minister, Nada Boustani, said Friday.
"The second stage of accreditation for the companies to work on the blocks in the Lebanese waters opens today after the cabinet approval... Blocks 1, 2, 5, 8 and 10 are presented today," the minister said at a press conference in Beirut.
