Russia's Bogdanov Assures Libyan GNA Foreign Minister of Support for Country's Integrity

MOSCOW (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 05th April, 2019) Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Mikhail Bogdanov has discussed the situation in Libya in phone talks with Mohamed Siala, the foreign minister in the Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA), the Russian Foreign Ministry said Friday.
Media reported earlier in the day that the Libyan army commander, Khalifa Haftar, had ordered his forces to start a move on GNA-controlled Tripoli.
"The Russian side has reaffirmed its unchanged principled position on the support for Libya's unity, territorial integrity and sovereignty, as well as for establishing a stable inter-Libyan dialogue in coordination with UN Special Representative Ghassan Salyame," the ministry said in a statement.
