Bushra Ansari gives strong message of Pak-India peace with Punjabi Tappa

While Bushra Ansari acts as the Indian neighbour, her sister Asma Abbas plays the role of Pakistani neighbour.

Islamabad (Pakistan Point News – 5th April, 2019) Versatile actress Bushra Ansari has come up with a beautiful rendition of a Punjabi tappa along with her sister Asma Abbas.

The song ‘Humsaye Maa Jaye’ gives a message of peace and love with neighbouring India.

The video features both the sisters, singing from the kitchens with a wall dividing the two neighbours.

While Bushra Ansari acts as the Indian neighbour, her sister Asma Abbas plays the role of Pakistani neighbour.

With this simple Tappa, the two women have shed light on the war-mongering sentiments present in India and Pakistan against the will of their citizens who actually want peace and harmony.

The video has been directed by Iqbal Hussain while the poetry has been written by Neelum Ahmad Bashir.

This music video goes beyond war and borders to the hearts of people living so close, and yet too far.

The long-standing tensions between the two nations escalated after the February 14 suicide attack on a convoy carrying Indian security forces that killed over 40 troops in Pulwama.

India has since been war mongering against Pakistan.

Following this attack, the Indian Air Force intruded into Pakistan's airspace along the Line of Control on February 26.

India claimed to have targeted an alleged training camp of the Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist organization which had claimed responsibility for Pulwama attack.

Pakistan, which denies any involvement in the February 14 attack, retaliated with airstrikes, downing an Indian jet over the disputed Kashmir region and capturing an Indian pilot.

Pakistan later handed back the Indian pilot as a peace gesture on March 1.
