KIEV (Pakistan Point News / Sputnik - 01st April, 2019) Comedian Volodymyr Zelenskiy maintains lead in the Ukrainian presidential race with 30.26 percent of votes, while the incumbent president of Ukraine, Petro Poroshenko, is ranking second with 15.99 percent, the country's Central Election Commission (CEC) said on Monday, after 90.

11 percent of the ballots were counted.

Former prime minister Yulia Tymoshenko ranks third with 13.36 percent of votes, and the leader of the Opposition Platform For Life party, Yuriy Boyko, is coming fourth with 11.53 percent, the CEC added.

Zelenskiy and Poroshenko are likely to face each other in the runoff on April 21.
